Scope:

Helicopters are the primary means of transfer of personnel to and from the offshore platforms. Such a transfer is subject to a hazard of helicopter ditching at sea. The ‘Helicopter Underwater Escape Training’ (HUET) is designed to train personnel required to travel by helicopter over sea in the skill of escaping from a ditched helicopter

· Helicopter Safety Equipment

· Underwater Escape Drill

· Familiarisation and use of Heliraft

· Use of helicopter survival equipment
